The traditional healing in Vainakhs is a synthesis of rational and religious magic techniques, especially in traditional obstetrics and healing of children. Certain techniques successfully withstood the test of time and didn't loose their medical hygienic importance in nowadays. However, many positions in Vainakhs traditional healing, especially its rite aspects, have presently only a historical value.
