Aramite has been administered to male rats by oral route during 56 weeks at a daily dose of 400 mg/kg. There was a decrease of the body weight and several animals died. Liver hypertrophy was observed with neoplasic proliferation of parenchymatous cells and cholangiocarcinoma.
