Abstract

In this review the therapeutical options of physiotherapy in patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain, especially non-specific back pain, are reported. The importance of the objective "reduction of pain related disability of individual activities of daily living" is reported. Various methods of exercise therapy and their application in either a monodisciplinary setting or in an interdisciplinary pain management team are discussed.
