[Study of ganglioside therapy in maxillofacial surgery].

56 patients have been treated with cerebral gangliosides by the Authors. They underwent a maxillo-facial operation due to various pathological reasons (traumas, tumors, malformations). They presented secondary symptoms such as neurological deficits of the V and VII paired cranial nerves. The recovery from neurological sensitive, motor deficit have been positive, and the Authors have been encouraged to the therapeutical use of gangliosides in the mentioned pathology and to a wider experiment of the test product.
