The need to emphasize humanism in medical and allied health curricula has become an issue in recent years because of the tremendous increase in technology. This article investigates the history of humanism in the radiography curriculum by reviewing the historical progression of the Essentials and Guidelines of an Accredited Program for the Radiographer.
