To explore a comprehensive evaluation method of knowledge, attitude and behavior (KAP) about schistosomiasis control among students of susceptibility zone in lake region.
A comprehensive KAP evaluation indicator system was developed by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The system consists of three layers. First-layer indices include knowledge, altitude and behavior of schistosomiasis control. 17 specific parts compose second-layer indices. Third-layer indices have 30 specific aspects. The experts were invited to provide comments for these indicators, and indicator weights were formulated by using AHP. A questionnaire survey was conducted among students of grade 3 and 4 from Central Primary School, Liyuzhou Primary School and Meichi Primary School in Wuxing Farm. Status of health education for schistosomiasis was evaluated by this method.
n the indicator system, the weights of behavior, altitude and knowledge were 0.54, 0.30, and 0.16, respectively. The average score of KAP indicator was 8.45. The score for behavior, altitude and knowledge indicators was 8.86, 8.90, and 6.25, respectively. The scores of some indicators such as fishing outside and inside level, washing outside level and grazing in marshland were 8.17-9.29.
This comprehensive evaluation method can be used to evaluate basic situation and effect of health education in schistosomiasis intervention. The health education should be strengthened in the survey site.
探索湖区易感地带学生血吸虫病防治知识、态度和行为(KAP)的综合评价方法。
采用层次分析法(AHP)构建KAP综合评价指标体系。该体系由三层组成。第一层指标包括血吸虫病防治知识、态度和行为。17个具体部分构成第二层指标。第三层指标有30个具体方面。邀请专家对这些指标进行点评,并运用层次分析法确定指标权重。对五星农场中心小学、利洲小学和梅池小学三、四年级的学生进行问卷调查。用该方法评价血吸虫病健康教育现状。
在指标体系中,行为、态度和知识的权重分别为0.54、0.30和0.16。KAP指标平均得分为8.45。行为、态度和知识指标得分分别为8.86、8.90和6.25。一些指标得分,如在内外水域捕鱼、在户外洗涤和在沼泽地放牧,为8.17 - 9.29。
该综合评价方法可用于评估血吸虫病干预中健康教育的基本情况和效果。调查地点应加强健康教育。
