Evaluate the application of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) in patients with Crohn's disease (CD) refractory to pharmacologic therapy, who developed abdominal, anorectal or skin complications.
Fourteen selected patients with refractory CD and treated at the School of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo (FMRP-USP) and at the Center of Hyperbaric Medicine, São Paulo Hospital (CEMEHI) were submitted to HBO.
Of the 14 patients evaluated, 11 had a satisfactory response.
HBO has shown benefits in patients with CD refractory to pharmacologic therapy.
评估高压氧疗法（HBO）在对药物治疗无效且出现腹部、肛门直肠或皮肤并发症的克罗恩病（CD）患者中的应用。
14例选定的对CD治疗无效的患者，在圣保罗大学里贝朗普雷图医学院（FMRP-USP）和圣保罗医院高压医学中心（CEMEHI）接受了HBO治疗。
在评估的14例患者中，11例有满意的反应。
HBO已显示出对药物治疗无效的CD患者有益。
