A survey on indications and techniques used in conservative treatment in breast cancer was performed in 19 French cancer centers. A consensus seems to exist about treatment modalities: irradiation techniques, breast dose, indication of chemotherapy. Other points are differently appreciated: exeresis margin, tumor bed dose, boost technique. In spite of these differences, the results obtained seem to be equivalent.
