In Nerocila serra, three pairs of hepatopancreatic caeca lie on either side of the digestive tract. Each of the tubules is composed of two types of cells-a type with vacuoles and a type without; they have secretory and absorptive function. Histochemical tests of the hepatopancreas revealed the presence of strongly acidic, weakly acidic, sulphated and carboxylated substances. It is suggested that the gland cells contain large amount of proteins, lipids and phospholipids.
在锯缘鳞突脂鲤中，三对肝胰盲囊位于消化道两侧。每根小管由两种类型的细胞组成——一种有液泡，另一种没有；它们具有分泌和吸收功能。肝胰腺的组织化学测试显示存在强酸性、弱酸性、硫酸化和羧化物质。有人认为腺细胞含有大量蛋白质、脂质和磷脂。
