Abstract
Non-plaque related periodontal diseases are rather rare, and may be based on a wide range of lesions, both benign and malignant. The clinical and radiographic signs often mimic those of the common plaque-related diseases and, therefore, may significantly postpone proper diagnosis and treatment.
