[Enterocins--diversity, properties and practical use].

This review presents current information about bacteriocinogenic activity of bacteria of Enterococcus genus. Information is presented about enterocins diversitx, their properties, the effect of culture conditions on their production, activity spectrum. Data on the practical use of enterocins as biopreservatives in food products of animal and vegetable origin.
