[Malignant schwannoma of the lung].

A case of a histologically confirmed malignant schwannoma of the lung is reported. The pathological and clinical features, the immuno-histological diagnosis and the prognosis of the tumor are reviewed. Furthermore, the successful surgical treatment of the patient is described; he survived 7 years after the operation, and now there aren't any clinical and roentgenological signs of recurrences.
