[Attempt at the evaluation of stromal reactions in orofacial tumors].

A group of 130 patients with malignant tumours of the orofacial region were examined. Each patient was investigated for tumour tissue stromal reaction in terms of topography, quantity and quality of the infiltrate, and with a view to the presence of necrosis. A comprehensive analysis found no direct correlation between stromal reaction and the patients' survival times.
