Abstract
We present 534 superficial (pTa) bladder cancer, followed in our institution between 1970 et 1990. During the "follow up" period, 20 patients (4%) died of their cancer, 64 patients (12%) presented an "infiltrative" recurrence and 338 (63%) one or more "superficial" recurrence.
