[HIV infection epidemic in Russian Federation and its features at the present stage].

The problem of HIV infection spread in Russian Federation is examined in the article. Data on HIV infection dynamics and predominate risk groups of the population during different years are presented. Age structure of HIV infected individuals in Russian Federation is examined. Main factors that promote HIV infection spread in Russian Federation are specified and means of control are proposed.
