PURPOSE/QUESTION: To determine whether secondhand smoke could be a cause of early childhood caries.
Funding was provided by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, Japan, including the following: a Grant-in-Aid for Cancer Research (17-1); the Health and Labor Sciences Research Grants for Clinical Cancer Research (H19-010); and Comprehensive Research on Cardiovascular and Life-Style Related Diseases (H19-007).
