Abstract
The morphological features of early gastric carcinoma and its differences with respect to advanced gastric cancer are discussed on the basis of reported data. In particular, prognostic morphological implications and therapeutic possibilities are discussed. Study of recurrences suggest factors to improve prognostic productivity.
