Abstract
For discrepant diagnoses in a patient with hypercalcemia, the authors utilized three different parathyroid hormone assays. The new two-site immunoradiometric assay (IRMA) proved to be the most accurate and is recommended in the differential diagnosis of hypercalcemia.
