Extraskeletal mesenchymal chondrosarcoma is a rare tumour with a predilection for the meninges and lower limb, especially the thigh region. This paper reports an extraskeletal mesenchymal chondrosarcoma occurring in the posterior mediastinum, a previously undocumented site.
