Abstract

AIM

To study the clinical features of vitreous amyloidosis and the effect of vitrectomy for it.

METHODS

We treated 6 eyes (4 Patients) with vitreous amyloidosis from 2008 to 2009, and followed up for 18-30 months after vitrectomy.

RESULTS

The visual acuity ranged from counting fingers to 3/50 before surgery and 15/50-40/50 after vitrectomy. No severe complication was observed.

CONCLUSION

Vitrectomy is an effective and safe treatment for eyes with vitreous amyloidosis. A long period of follow-up after surgery should be performed.

摘要

目的

研究玻璃体淀粉样变性的临床特征及玻璃体切除术对其的治疗效果。

方法

2008年至2009年，我们对4例患者的6只眼玻璃体淀粉样变性进行了治疗，并在玻璃体切除术后随访18至30个月。

结果

术前视力从手动到3/50不等，玻璃体切除术后为15/50至40/50。未观察到严重并发症。

结论

玻璃体切除术是治疗玻璃体淀粉样变性眼的一种有效且安全的方法。术后应进行长期随访。
