Examination of the oculomotor apparatus in 130 patients after scleroplastic operations and in 65 patients with vertical squint, forced position of the head, by means of the method of coordimetry and a proposed Parks' (in Hardesty's modification) test "three steps" has shown this test to be valuable as a simple, requiring no technical equipment and accessible to practitioners, method of diagnosing vertical squint in children and adults. It is shown that this test can be computerized and assessed by means of microcalculators.
对130例接受硬化成形手术后的患者以及65例患有垂直斜视、头部强迫姿势的患者，采用坐标测量法和一种改良的帕克斯（在哈迪斯蒂的改良版中）“三步”试验对眼球运动装置进行检查，结果表明该试验作为一种简单、无需技术设备且从业者易于掌握的方法，在诊断儿童和成人垂直斜视方面具有重要价值。结果显示该试验可进行计算机化处理，并通过微型计算器进行评估。
