Abstract
The author describes a method of designing a map of the Ukrainian SSR (1:150,000) aimed at hygienic cartography of water objects according to their degree of pollution in the large and small rivers of the Ukraine with consideration of the organoleptic toxicological properties and sanitary regimen. Bacteriological indices were not used.
