The authors present a histomorphological, cytological and cytochemical study of lymph node biopsy material from 4 patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This rarely occurring lymphomas revealed a large number of giant cells with mitoses. The histiocytic nature of the cells was confirmed cytoenzymologically. The clinical picture is characterized by aggressive course, resistance to cytostatic therapy.
