Conservative treatment of a large radiolucent cyst-like apical lesion--a case report.

This case demonstrates the conservative treatment of a large apical radiolucent lesion over a period of one year. It is surmised that a dental cyst was present and that resolution was brought about by the use of calcium hydroxide combined with frequent drainage through the root canal.
