[Franz Olberg (1767-1840). A memorial on the 150th anniversary of the death of the Anhalt-Dessau community physician].

The era of the Anhalt-Dessau philanthropism had significant consequences for the public health of the country. The Dessau physician Franz Olberg in the association of a medicinal commission founded in 1793 brought into existence essential reforms to benefit the general medical care of the populations. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his death this fact is called to mind.
