[Rhodococcus equi infection in a goat].

Enterotoxaemia caused by Clostridium perfringens was diagnosed in a goat affected with severe enteritis which was found to be present at autopsy. Lesions bearing a resemblance to tuberculosis, caused by a Rhodococcus equi infection, were observed in the liver and lungs. This bacterium is constantly isolated from pulmonary abscesses in foals affected with pyemia. Similar cases of infection in goats were previously reported in the literature.
