Endobronchial tuberculosis may simulate a bronchial neoplasm. It is the data from a bronchial biopsy carried out along with the X-ray and endoscopy examination followed by the bacteriology of the expectorating sputum which enables a diagnosis to be made. This form of diagnosis is known but is rare. The clinical outcome is very good after specific treatment, although the radiological signs and above all the endoscopic findings improve more slowly.
支气管内膜结核可能会酷似支气管肿瘤。正是来自于支气管活检的数据，连同X光和内窥镜检查，以及随后的痰液细菌学检查，才使得做出诊断成为可能。这种诊断方式虽为人所知，但却很罕见。经过特效治疗后，临床疗效非常好，尽管放射学征象尤其是内窥镜检查结果改善得较为缓慢。
