Response of virgin female Lutzomyia longipalpis Lutz & Nevia (Diptera: Psychodidae), contained in a 60-cm3 net cage, to sticky traps was significantly greater when the traps were baited with extract of male pheromone glands. Results confirm that the response of females to male pheromone does not necessarily depend upon the presence of a host.
置于60立方厘米网笼中的未交配雌性长须罗蛉（双翅目：毛蠓科），当粘性诱捕器用雄性信息素腺体提取物诱捕时，其反应显著增强。结果证实，雌性对雄性信息素的反应不一定取决于宿主的存在。
