[Effects of systemic family therapy on the organization and operation of a pediatric psychotherapy unit].

This article communicates novel criteria for the necessity of stationary psychotherapy in children and adolescents derived from practice in systemic family-therapy. Discussion of advantages and disadvantages of stationary psychotherapy from a systemic versus individual centered perspective results in different conclusions. Originating from this discussion important factors implicating preparations and planning for stationary psychotherapy are analyzed.
