In 27 patients with postoperative abdominal hernias, on the basis of studying the indices of respiration, hemodynamics, ABB and blood gas, it was established that preoperative preparation lasting 9-12 days provided adaptation of the respiratory and circulatory systems to the increased intraabdominal pressure.
