In our days the radiologic examination method of dynamic cavernosography is still in the state of infancy but has already passed the test as an indispensable means to locate the site of a venous leak and to diagnose other pathologic penile conditions. Its field of application covers penile fracture, the extension of induratio penis plastica, the degree of fibrosis in the postpriapic state, the testing of tumour penetration. The method being invasive it is important to apply it in the proper diagnostic order, as soon as clear proof has been furnished that the potency disorder is not due to impaired reflex activity, has not developed on a psychic background and the Doppler test has revealed normal arterial flow conditions.
目前，动态海绵体造影这种放射学检查方法仍处于起步阶段，但作为定位静脉漏部位和诊断其他阴茎病理状况的不可或缺手段，它已经通过了检验。其应用领域涵盖阴茎骨折、阴茎硬结症的扩展、阴茎异常勃起后纤维化程度、肿瘤浸润检测。由于该方法具有侵入性，因此在明确证明性功能障碍并非由反射活动受损引起、不是在精神背景下发展而来且多普勒检查显示动脉血流状况正常后，按照正确的诊断顺序应用它非常重要。
