[Surgical formation of a fronto-nasal anastomosis using a combination allograft].

Relapses of chronic suppurative frontal sinusitis after surgery are mainly associated with disorders of the newly constructed frontal-nasal anastomosis. Traditional methods of this intervention are inefficient. This paper presents a novel procedure of forming a communication between the frontal sinus and the nasal cavity by means of a combined allograft (made of a freeze-dried artery and titanium nickelide spiral having a shape memory effect).
