[To the 25th anniversary of commencement of perestroika of national public health].

The process of modernization of public health of the Russian Federation requires the application of experience of resent past. In 2012, is 25 years from the day of approval of the decree "The main directions of development of population health protection and perestroika of public health of the USSR in 12th five-year plan and to the period up to 2000". Many items of this document remained unrealized due to the change of social political course of country progression. Nevertheless, these items can be used presently to enhance the legislation in public health sector.
