[BCG osteitis].

After first describing the course of BCG osteitis in young children, the problems associated with the routine prophylactic BCG inoculation in countries with a low incidence of tuberculosis are discussed. There is good reason to draw attention to the recommendation of the Inoculation Commission attached to the Federal Health Office calling to the fact that newborn infants should be inoculated only if they belong to the high-risk groups.
