A case of chronic intussusception of the distal ileum due to leiomyoma is reported. The vague abdominal symptoms lead to an extensive endoscopic and radiologic diagnostic work-up. Preoperative diagnosis was achieved by enteroclysis. The radiologic as well as intraoperative findings are described and the importance of enteroclysis in small bowel examinations is stressed.
