[Relation of parameters of the dental arches and the temporomandibular joints in intact orthognathic bite].

The data suggest that correlation and regression relationship exists between dentition and temporomandibular joint parameters. A close correlation was found between the markedness of sagittal occlusion curve and the height of mandibular caput. The lower jaw width only fairly correlated with the distance between posterior wall of the articular fossa and mandibular caput, and with the height of that caput. The results can be used for construction of fully removable dentures.
