[The plasty of ankle and foot using fasciocutaneous flaps with double axial blood supply].

There were presented the anatomical substantiation, surgical technique of the flap mobilization, the methods for the flaps survival capacity enhancing, as well as the first experience of plasty, using fasciocutaneous flaps of the ankle on a distal nutrating pedicle with a double axial blood supply. The flaps were successfully used for the treatment of durably nonhealing wounds of the foot and the ankle in 23 patients.
