Recent scientific work supports the rapidly growing use of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the most sensitive and specific imaging tool for detection, staging and treatment planning of prostate cancer. Its use can improve many aspects of prostate cancer management. By increasing the detection rate of clinically significant tumours with less biopsy-cores and improving the evaluation of tumours, localization, volume, extend and biological aggressiveness multiparametric MRI facilitate appropriate treatment selection of prostate cancer patients.
近期的科学研究支持多参数磁共振成像(MRI)作为前列腺癌检测、分期和治疗规划中最敏感、最具特异性的成像工具的迅速广泛应用。其应用可改善前列腺癌管理的多个方面。通过减少活检核心数量提高临床显著肿瘤的检出率,并改善对肿瘤的评估、定位、体积、范围及生物学侵袭性,多参数MRI有助于为前列腺癌患者选择合适的治疗方案。
