[Surgical treatment of orbito-palpebral hemangioma].

The authors propose an original surgical procedure for the treatment of the orbito-palpebral hemangiomas. Preoperative evaluation include a CT-scan of the orbito-palpebral regions as well as a selective arteriogram. Embolizing was performed after supra-selective cannulation of the feeding vessel. Access to the orbital contents is obtained by an intracranial, superior eyelid crease and lymbic exposure. Complete bone reconstruction and functional reconstruction of the eyelid lead to a highly aesthetic and functional result.
