Sequential stress fractures of the tibia associated with osteo-arthritis of the knee. A case report.

A 73-year-old woman with genu varum developed sequential stress fractures of the proximal tibia over a period of 8 months. On presentation, the patient was walking unaided; this highlights the importance of radiological review of patients with degenerative arthritis who complain of inappropriate symptoms.
