Abstract

Subacidity or anacidity may lower glucose-tolerance in elder diabetics. 65 Patients, who showed not sufficient effect of oral hypoglycaemic agents, got an acidiferous drug. Diabetes could be ameliorated significantly. Some results are contrary to itself. In 8 patients our hypothesis came true in all points. Further investigations are necessary.
