Aspiration cytology of adult rhabdomyoma.

The distinct cytologic picture of a fine needle aspirate from a case of adult rhabdomyoma is described. The presence of cytoplasmic cross striations was a diagnostic feature that could be demonstrated in some tumor cells with all routine stains used (Papanicolaou, May-Grünwald-Giemsa and hematoxylin and eosin).
