[Findings, treatment and course of frontobasal fractures].

This is a report on the preoperative and postoperative findings of 120 patients with frontobasal fractures. The majority of 62 defects of the dura were treated with lyophilised dura and fibrin glue. The course was controlled by means of a questionnaire. Thus the technique of repairing the lesions as well as the often performed osteosynthesis of the frontal sinus with wire or plates proved to be effective.
