[A postgraduate experience at the ASN's annual meeting].

The annual meeting of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) is one of the most important conferences in this field. It has a high scientific quality and it receives thousands of participants from all over the world. In this paper, a fellow in Nephrology describes her attendance to this meeting. Moreover, two topics have been selected and summarized: the role of complement in the thrombotic microangiopathy and the autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
