BACKGROUND
Along with the increasing popularity of oral piercings, the number of reported complications and side effects increases, too.
CASE REPORT
The aim of this report is to present a case of substantial bone loss in the area of the mandibular central incisors caused by lingual piercing and persistent bad habits. Dentist should be aware of potential complications associated with oral piercings and warn patients about them.

随着口腔穿刺的日益普及，报告的并发症和副作用的数量也在增加。
病例报告
本报告的目的是介绍一例由于舌侧穿刺和持续的不良习惯导致下颌中切牙区域大量骨丢失的病例。牙医应该意识到与口腔穿刺相关的潜在并发症，并就此向患者发出警告。
