On a review of 500 spina bifidas, the authors presents 44 lypomeningoceles (8.8%). During de first two years of age a clinical follow-up with a T.A.C. and myelography is performed. Depending on the symptoms the surgical intervention is performed after two years of age. The authors described the surgical technique. Urological, gastroenterological and orthopedics sequelae are presented and reviewed.
