The aim of this article is to imply that sectional arches which are frequently used in Edgewise technique whereas not in Begg Technique, can also be used in Begg technique. Sectional arches are mostly used in distalisation of canins. Besides, according to the tooth extracted, e.g. premolars 1, 2 it is also possible to retract the teeth by using sectional arches. In Begg technique, by means of elastics attached to helix on the mesial side of the canins, it is not possible to give the canins a unique movement, instead all of the anterior tooth from canin to canin are extracted. Therefore, this condition in this article, the feasibility of sectional arches in Begg technique has been discussed together with its advantages.
本文的目的是表明，方丝弓技术中常用的片段弓（而Begg技术中不常用）也可用于Begg技术。片段弓主要用于尖牙远中移动。此外，根据所拔除的牙齿，例如第一、二前磨牙，使用片段弓也可以内收牙齿。在Begg技术中，通过连接在尖牙近中侧螺旋弹簧上的弹力圈，无法使尖牙产生独特的移动，而是会使所有从一侧尖牙到另一侧尖牙的前牙整体移动。因此，在本文的这种情况下，探讨了片段弓在Begg技术中的可行性及其优点。
