The authors suggest a taxonomy and a specific terminology for vertical maxillo/mandibular excess dysmorphies, "Long face" or "High face". They distinguish three anomalies which may, separate or in association, cause an increased vertical dimension of face; a. Hypsomaxillia, b. Hypsogenia, c. Hypsostomy. In this paper a case of "Long face" and its surgical treatment will be presented.
作者提出了一种针对垂直上颌/下颌过度畸形（“长脸”或“高面”）的分类法和特定术语。他们区分了三种可能单独或联合导致面部垂直尺寸增加的异常情况：a. 上颌过高；b. 下颌过高；c. 口裂过高。本文将介绍一例“长脸”病例及其外科治疗方法。
