Synovectomy of the knee results in a satisfactory degree of pain relief in rheumatoid arthritis. 52 synovectomies were performed in 40 patients. The mean length of follow-up was 7.8 years. We found satisfactory results in 88.4% of the cases and unsatisfactory results in 11.6%. We could see that this procedure is indicated in those cases that have a well preserved articular architecture, while if this is destroyed the result is poorer.
膝关节滑膜切除术可使类风湿性关节炎患者的疼痛得到令人满意程度的缓解。对40例患者实施了52次滑膜切除术。平均随访时间为7.8年。我们发现88.4%的病例结果令人满意，11.6%的病例结果不满意。我们可以看出，该手术适用于那些关节结构保存良好的病例，而如果关节结构遭到破坏，手术结果则较差。
