[Indication of maxillary reduction in surgical-orthodontic protocols].

The LEFORT I maxillary impaction correction of the dento-alveolar vertical compensation improve the labial contact and allow to establish a better occlusion. The site, the symmetry and the importance of this impaction depend of the initial exo and endobuccal diagnosis. Three cases are studied to appreciate its clinical possibilities.
